To toast sesame seeds, place in a thin layer on an ungreased baking sheet (parchment paper may be used); bake at 350 degrees, stirring occasionally, for about 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden brown. Or, place in a dry skillet over medium heat and toast, stirring occasionally, for about 3-5 minutes. Keep a close eye on them with either method so they don’t burn. Remove from pan immediately.Suggested Uses :
Sprinkle on stir-fries, steamed veggies and Buddha bowls. Mix into marinade for salmon. Add into grain and bean dishes. Stir into bread or cookie batters, and top fresh-baked breads or rolls. Grind them into paste for your own tahini. Or grind them with a little sea or pink Himalayan salt to shake on at the table.
